A battle of wit and will

Collected Stories, by Donald Margulies and featuring Wendy Ishii and Elizabeth Nodich, is a provocative comedy-drama told in six scenes and spanning six years in the rise and fall of a relationship between a renowned writer and teacher and the young graduate student she takes under her wing. Setting the action in the writer’s book cluttered Greenwich Village apartment, Margulies draws from his own experience as a teacher at the Yale School of Drama and his multiple accomplishments as an author, including a 2000 Pulitzer Prize for his play Dinner with Friends.
