Matt Kistler

Secretary of Keeping it Real

Matt entered this world with the nurturing back-drop of nuclear warheads and missile silos. Raised as an Airforce brat Matt wandered the country reminiscent of the Incredible Hulk. Despite a knack for ripping through his button-ups, some unforeseeable act of God always managed to keep his pants intact. Matt’s nomadic lifestyle came to an end upon his arrival to Fort Collins, where he assisted graphics majors and began interning at Toolbox, while attending CSU. Matt graduated in May of 2006 and has been rawking out at TBC ever since.

Specialty:
Much like Colonel John “Hannibal” Smith, Matt loves to quarrel, especially when his foe is a bad typeface. At Toolbox, his resourcefulness is compared to that of the leatherman’s tag line — “The Multi-tool Powerhouse.” No matter the task: logo design, book interiors, production, or other business collateral Matt gets the job done.
Loves:
Wrastlin' rocks, the self-propelled two-wheeled wonder, the sound of an american V8, mom's homemade strawberry jelly.
Hates:
Papyrus (the font), Being the last to say “thanks”, people incompetent of using a turn lane properly, and Macy Gray.
